Heal thy intestines! Get resistance!
During these very crazy days, during these last crazy years illness became a hot item; a problem between all kinds of people. I am sure you know what I am talking about. A sickness turns out to be a mystery, curing the sickness ended in some kind of a fight. Families are falling apart. And why? Because somehow an industry managed to take over. And somehow people tend to forget that humans are a natural thing and treating a disease can be done by nature. So that industry developed an iconic medicine and loads of people went for it. But it was not as good as people thought and people got sick again. Slowly but surely people need to take that medicine more and more. All kinds of stories are being told, all kinds of doctors, scientists are involved. So telling you if this medicine is right will not get me or you anywhere.

Okay, that is the truth. But why do I get the feeling that, again, I need to ad something?
I mentioned it before and I am definitely not the only one, but the resistance of human beings and of a lot of other beings is located in the intestines. Meaning if your intestines are in great shape, you are in great shape! But how come so many people are sick these days?
I will tell you my story of my car. I had a beautiful little car, a yellow Fiat. She was gorgeous and took me everywhere I wanted to go. Until one day I made a big mistake. I gave her the wrong fuel. Instead of gas, I gave her diesel. And I did not do it once, but for some reason I kept on doing it without even noticing it. One day my little cute car started to make a real sad noise and she could not drive as fast as I wanted. Long story, not completely true, short. My yellow Fiat broke down. The motor was full of thick dirt, the tubes could not handle it and at the end of the day: she stopped driving.
The moral of the story:
Although we are very sophisticated human beings we are missing out one huge point regarding our health and resistance: our intestines need to be in good shape. Food is one of the ingredients to accomplish that the wall of the intestines will not break down, there will be no toxins in our blood and we will not get sick. Although it is also pesticides, pollution, stress etc. you can do a lot yourself. It is up to you: do you like to be a healthy and happy old person: stay away from factory food, stay away from white sugar, flour etc. I told you before. But: there are more possibilities to restore your resistance. There are several beautiful herbs and vegetables that can help you gain resistance. The one that is an enormous help is Echinacea.
Echinacea Purpurea. Echinacea will help you to get through winter, when you are snotty, when you are tired and not feeling on top of the world. Let me tell you the story of this flower:
The knowledge about this flower and it’s healing comes from North American Indians. They used their own paste to treat burns, wounds, swelling and also used it as an antidote for snake bites. But they chewed the plant when having tooth pain, pain in their throats or various other pains. A cold was always cured using echinacea.
These days people really appreciate the effect of echinacea because of the general immune system. Inflammation is your body’s natural way of promoting healing and defending itself. Sometimes inflammation can get out of hand and last for longer than necessary and expected. This may raise your risk of chronic diseases and other health problems. Many studies have shown that echinacea can help reduce excess inflammation.
There is a lot to say about this flower. People usually use it exactly as told. I use it different. When I feel I am getting a “fluey feeling”: pain in my throat, weird muscles, a running nose: I take 15 drops under my tongue for every half hour a quarter of the day. Then I take 30 drops in a bit of water for the other rest of the day, every half hour and before I go to bed I take 50 drops in half a glass of water. If necessary I do the same thing the next day. But that has been very rare. Remember one thing though: a cold takes 15 days or two weeks. Using echinacea makes it a lot more bearable and a cold stays a cold.
